If you cross to the waterfront you can sit for hours watching the activity in Charlotte Amalie Harbor. Cruise ships, a plane that lands on the water, ferry boats, sail boats, yachts - they are all there in the beautiful turquoise water. It is a relaxing alternative to Main Street.

Coming in from the airport you are greeted with graffitied buildings unti you get into town. We were told that many drivers don't have a license nor insurance and they hit you can keep driving so take the extra insurance at the car rental desk. Very scary driving on the left. Take you GPS Garmin along they were there.

Great road along the waterfront of Charlotte Amalie. You get a great close up of all the sites down here. Cruise ships. seaplanes and shops, bars and tourist attractions. Have fun driving on the left side of the road.
