We were told the snorkeling was great here, but it is usually crowded with Locals (who don't necessarily Snorkel) and boats which make it difficult to swim. The beach is not that large, and its extremely difficult to get to as signs are very scarce. Would recommend Coki Beach, or Sapphire for great snorkeling with ammenities

When my girlfriend and I were in St Thomas the last week in March, we ended meeting a very nice gal on our airplane on the flight down, who was taking her 2 sons to see their dad who lives on St Thomas. Well a few days into our trip, she calls me to say her family was taking their...

This area is mostly visited by locals but it is nice on this side of the island. A bit prettier and uncrowded. Beach wasn't super clean. there is a restaurant close by.

Hull bay is not worth the trip in our opinion. There was a tiny beach. Lots of small boats on moorings. Nothing was open - no food or the advertized water sports.

Hull Bay is a local's beach. Rarely crowded, with plenty of shade trees, it's a great place to relax and sip a cool drink. Great bar/restaurant there. We went there our first night just to kick back. Food was amazing. Both my hubby and son had the Mahi Mahi alfredo (neither one a huge fish fan) and they ate it all. I had the sesame tuna and Loved every bite. Be prepared to spend for it though, all three entrees were $22 each. However...

If Hull bay is calm enough it is great fun for snorkeling. There are awesome coral/rock formations and we always see turtles and other fish. If the waters are not so calm you can watch the surfers and enjoy time at the Hideaway bar located across the road. It is a bit difficult to drive to, but worth the trip.

Can be buggy at times, some areas are rocky, but this is a great place to hang out. Gorgeous sunsets, good waves during parts of the year for surfers and nice trees to sit or park under. I love to come to this beach to watch the birds dive in the water.
