This was my 6th visit to St. Croix, and I found myself wishing I had found this tour before. We did the daytime tour, and in our group were 5 adults (3 of them were local residents). Our guide Brian knew so much about the history and ecology of Salt River that even the locals learned something. Because the kayaks... More

We did the Salt River Tour. Even in pouring down rain in the beginning, it was really a fun experience. Brian, our guide, was very educated and knowledgable and made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. You paddle with your legs instead of arms, so very easy. We saw lots of wildlife and beautiful waters. Next time we'll do the... More

My whole family absolutely loved taking a guided tour from Virgin Kayaks! We had 2 parents, 2 grandparents, 2 young kids (8 & 5), and one aunt--everyone had a terrific time and even the kids were easily able to manage the kayaks. (We had each child ride with an adult.) Virgin's kayaks are foot-powered instead of using paddle-powered and it... More

The bioluminescent tour is absolutely amazing, honestly one of the coolest things I've ever done. A few other outfitters do the biobay tour, but I am confident Virgin Kayak is the best. Brian is incredibly knowledgable about the history and ecology of St. Croix. Rather than sit there waiting for it to get dark like other tours, he showed us... More

Bioluminescence bay tour is excellent! Brian is a great tour guide who seems to have a real passion for what he does. They have awesome boats that can accommodate large people (At least 6'2", 290 lbs)and you peddle with your feet instead of paddling with your arms. Even if we did not see the little glowing dinoflagellates the tour would... More

Brian and Jill are the BEST!!!!! The only Kayak Tour I would recommend on the island!! Their location is beautiful and they are passionate about St. Croix and what they do! Accomodating as well, our group ranged from a 9 year old to two 50 year olds and people who never kayaked and we all had a great time. Something... More

We really wanted to experience the Biobay at night and were looking for an outfitter to go with. We are SOOOOO happy that we ended up with Virgin!!!! Jill and Brian are fantastic guides and just wonderful to be around. Their kayaks are awesome, pedaling no rowing involved if you don't want to. If you are thinking about going for... More

My husband, college-aged son, his friend and I took the bioluminescent tour with Virgin Kayak earlier this month and had a great experience. Dealing with Jill by email was very easy and she and Bryan are both very friendly and highly professional. It never occurred to me before booking this tour that two hours of paddling in the dark might... More

Our night-time kayak tour with Virgin Kayak to the bio-bay was wonderful! The kayak was easy to pedal and steer (we were first-time kayakers - and "of a certian age"), Jill and Bryan were great guides and the other guests were a lot of fun! Seeing the tiny creatures glowing as you run your hand through the dark water is... More
