Loved visiting this beach. Fabulous and uncrowded. Even though drive says private, continue down road and park next to tennis courts, walk from there. Great for kids since shallow for .5 miles and great for adults to enjoy beauty and colors of water. Gorgeous. Some of Best pics on vacation at this beach. Simply stunning.

Luckily, I had read all of the tripadvisor reviews prior to leaving and took down lots of notes so I'd know how to find these hidden gems once we were on the island. Taylor Bay does NOT disappoint! The water is so calm and beauitful. There is even some decent snorkeling over by the gazebo (watch out for the great... More

rented a car to drive to Taylor Bay from Grace Bay. Remote, we were the only ones on the beach! Absolute heaven.

Don't miss this beautiful beach tucked away by Chalk Sound. Only a handful of people so don't miss! You can walk what seems like a mile out in the water.

While Taylor Bay beach is off the beaten track, it is a fabulous spot to take kids to frolic in the water. The beach stretches out and the water isn't deep so kids can play to their hearts content. Not to be missed!

This is the perfect hide away beach if you have small children. Getting there can be a little difficult as the roads are not easily marked. When driving there, you pull into a small development and see a few cars parked on the side of the road. a short walk exposes you to a very unpopulated small beach. The busiest... More

The beach goes on forever as does the water. There is no dropoff or surf. Small children can play and frolic in the calm waters with no fear. enjoy, enjoy enjoy.

Fabulous beach especially if tyou have young children. The water is flat and very shallow for a long way, not great for swimming unless you dont mind the walk. Georgeous bay surrounded by lovely houses, most of which are vacation rentals. There are no public facilities at this beach.

This is a lovely fine sand beach, although we found it to be a little "weedy". We also had a struggle getting into the water because of the waves and the under tow. Perhaps it is the time of year or the weather conditions that caused the sea to be "angry". Other returning guests said that this rough sea condition... More

Really enjoyed our visit to Taylor Bay. It is an unbelievably picturesque location with beautiful, shallow, tranquil waters that go out about 100 yards. while there are houses set back about 20 yards, they are largely hidden from view, giving the beach a hidden sort of feel. Water is crystal clear and great for wading and lounging. There is no... More
