Historic building with stunning views. Well worth the steep drive up from the city. Built by the British and well preserved.

I refuse to beleive that this is the state of one of our forts , my husband almost refused to take me and then we did not get out of the car or stay more than 30 seconds , we were afraid to be robbed

Not much there. Good view from the hilltop but good people will warn you not to go. Hotspot for people to rob you at gunpoint. We love to go to Fort George for picnics, to spend some time admiring the fabulous view and just relaxing. Fort George is the best place in all around to take the most incredibles pictures of Port of Spain, this is because this fort is located in the highgest point of the city, moreover the fort it self is an antique piece of Port of Spain History, you can not miss it.

I'm a sucker for amazing views, and this overlook of Port of Spain is awesome. You are REALLY high up. On a clear day you can see most of the island and even Venezuela and Tobago. The drive up is CRAZY though as its so steep.
