Nice stretch of beach with decent snorkeling around the corner.Water sports are available here, as well as scuba. Water taxi from St. Kitts lands here. Good swimming area for children.

Definitely worth a visit! Quiet and pretty. Beachchairs can be rented, for hotelguests it's free. There aren't many waves here, so if that is what your after this is the wrong place.

Many had told us that Oualie was the best beach in Nevis. We were very disappointed! There are many other more interesting and beautiful beaches there. Oualie is small, and not good for walking.

Oualie beach was in nice proximity to our lodging, Round Hill Cottage (overlooking Oualie Bay). I would not consider Nevis a "beach" destination per se, so don't expect a Cancun or Mexico beach scene here. Nevis is much more conservative and a more elegant choice in terms of travel destinations. And the people are wonderful.

To wake up to see the hammock up and ready overlooking the sea on one's doorstep made our stay in one of Oualie Beach's cottage's a real delight. Our room was well equipped and nicely furnished but this wasn't true of some of the other rooms. in fact the who;e place needs a bit of TLC to raise its standards...

Sailed St. Marten to Eustacia (first country to recognize USA in November, 1776 which led to Dutch - England war) to St Kitts to Nevis. Oualie Beach is most protected bay on Nevis. Nice anchorage. Rented mountain bike from Winston for $25. Visited Four Seasons (rumor is bikes not allowed to visit during high season) which is a must stop...
