It was really fun being able to hold these giant star fish, and after spending the day and stingray city, and snorkeling over the wall and the reefs, it was a nice way to finish our day. We also had a jellyfish encounter like one of the other reviews mentioned. Our guide found a dead one and moved it, but... More

A few years ago Star Fish Point was a quiet point near Kaibo where there were thousands of Star Fish. Now it is a kind of local hang out for boaters and picnicers and the star fish are mostly all gone. It was not a very enjoyable experience for us this year

Wonderful place to swim in clear warm water but with a sudden drop off into deeper water so keep an eye on the little ones. The starfish we found was huge and it was a joy to examine but then we had our "surprise". My boy got badly stung by a jellyfish, a rare occurence so we were told but... More

3 ½ stars. 5 stars for the shallow water (that my 1 y.o. and 2 y.o. could sit/stand/play in) and starfish accessibility, but 2 stars for the beach with garbage on the beach, and non-picturesque wave breakers. During our late afternoon December visit, we easily found 5-6 starfish. They were huge! Our two year old was especially fascinated with the... More

We made a fairly quick stop here after a half day at rum point. Water is beautiful and you can pick the large star fish right up out of the water. Definately worth a stop!

We ended up here twice. First time because it was a little drizzly and overcast...so we headed here to look for critters. Found quite a few...two big starfish (may be less starfish because of condos and marina now open right nearby?) but still found two...lots of sea urchins, some neat crabs, little colorful fish, hermit crabs, little lizards, even got... It's frustrated to see how people treat the starfishes. While I was there, I saw three families picking up the starfishes and thrown them back into the water - not put them back gently, but thrown! One of them even dragged the starfish back to his boat! I really have no idea what he's going to do with it, but... More

Although it took a day for us to find Star Fish Point, my kids loved it. To find it you have to park at a "dead" end court and walk through a trail. So worth the search.

We stopped here on our way back from the Stingray City on our wave runners. Not alot to see, but a couple of very large Starfish. I would not seek this area out.

This was a fun spot to stop and see if you could find a starfish. We did and were amazed at how large they are! We were there fairly early in the morning so there weren't a large crowd of people.
