Compared to the other beaches in the BVI's this was our least favorite. I think as it is so close to the industrial areas in Road Town.

The Peg Leg is off the road, you need to turn in at Nanny Cay and drive down a ways, but when you get there you will see a very welcoming two storey restaurant that overlooks a nice pool area, a beach bar and the beach itself and of course the crystal blue waters with the islands in the distance....

Horizon Yacht Charters is based in Nanny Cay- and they certainly chose a great spot for their operations. Nanny Cay is a real marina- complete with everything that a sailor needs- including a small version of Bobby's grocery store, restaurants and a great bar.

We've been to Nanny Cay area two different times and were a little disappointed each time. The marina area could be so much nicer if someone spruced it up. It's lacking charm. It's also so HOT there-I don't think they get much of an ocean breeze.. So it's stuffy. This location doesn't hold a candle to Sopher's Hole Marina area.

The Nanny Cay harbor is a great place to visit. Peg Leg Restaraunt has great diners and views of the harbor and beach. check out HORIZON CHARTERS for sailing. Nice people!
