The Edge gets its two stars for the following reasons: 1. The boat itself was clean and appeared well-maintained. 2. Despite the very rough seas, the captain got us safely from Saba to Sint Maarten. And it loses the other three stars due to the behavior of the crew members. The first incident occurred as we were boarding. The man... More

We were so disappointed in the crew on board the Edge II on Dec 23, 2011. The trip was tough with rough seas and was made worse by 8 local male passengers who were given beer after beer by the crew. We tolerated the abuse for 1 hr 45 min. I'm surprised captain Michael did not stop the disruption. The... More

My husband and I took the Edge II to Saba during our recent vacation. I typically get motion sick so I was prepared with Dramamine. My husband usually doesn't have a problem but for some reason, decided to partake in Dramamine with me on the ride back to St. Maarten. The ride over to Saba in the morning was a... More

Though we had planned to go for three days, in the end we went for a daytrip. We went from St Maarten with the Edge II. We left the Pelecan Bay at 09:00 and arrived at Saba around 10:30. We had planned to rent a car and drive around, nevertheless a (far) better option was available. After the passport check... More

While Saba is a beautiful island, certainly worth visiting, I am providing this review for others who don't do well on the open ocean. I was extremely hesitant about the trip because of the long ferry ride in the Atlantic, but my husband read other reviews and convinced me that it wouldn't be that bad. I should have known the... Going to and from Saba was one of my best experiences this year. Mickey and the crew were the coolest ever, making someone that is so scared of the water actually want to take a ride in it. The ride to Saba was calm, the water was beautiful with little fishes and the ride back was a little more turbulent... More

Going to and from Saba on Edge II was nothing but a pleasure for both my wife and myself. The crew was kind, helpful and above all, courteous. The ride from St. Maarten to Saba was smooth and uneventful, save for dozens of flying fish taking their flying leaps in the waters surrounding the boat. We passed the time counting... More

We took the daytrip from St. Martin to Saba aboard Edge II with Aquamania. We had booked it through the Royal Palm Resort in Simpson Bay. The first problem I had with the trip is that their brochure states it is a one hour trip when it took over 90 minutes each way. They also gave us absolutely no warning... More
