We didn't spend too much time here, but this was a beautiful stop over. Wish we had had time to walk out to the small island too, but what a reason to go back! More

We loved the activities there and the food was great. We toured the island and went on the French side. My husband snorkled. More

We just visited this area after getting lost due to poor signage on this island! We took a tour of Les Balcones and would concur that this must be one of the best values for lodging on St. Martin or anywhere, for that matter. I don't know if there is a decent beach here, but the views of the "pond"... More

Don't fall for the Westin's scam of inviting you to see the hotel when it is actually a time share rope-in. We saw many people getting the old 'can't tell you what the cost is...' I did write a letter to Westin's head office to complain about the resorts low life technique. I wouldn't even stay there never mind buy... More

With all the great reports I had about this restaurant, I was excited about giving it a try. When we showed up at a relatively slow time of the evening, it almost felt like we were intruding. The menu was fine. It had a great variety of options. I thought the monkfish I ordered was good. Not great, not bad,... More

Great, small casual french restaurant in the Capt. Olivier Resort. If you go, it is cash only and you will probably be the only English speakers there. Nadia will tout you to what is good on the menu that changes quite frequently. More

I do recommend Quai West on the marina on the French side of Oyster Pond. It is a small outdoor restaurant on the left side of the marina - a bit hard to find. If you walk from the marina along the water to the left, you will see it. It is between "Les Balcons" and Captain Oliver's. Nadia, the... More
