A little late in reviewing this tour... I took it in December 2009. This was marketed as a half day tour .. But as that was fully booked we went on the day tour that lasted around 6 hours and included lunch. We were taken by Taxi to Vigie. Castries. We were told from the outset that there was a... More

We went half day with our 2 kids (13 &17), boat was clean and well equipped. Captain took the kids up top to check it out. We saw 2 different kind of dolphins, it was amazing watching them play with the boat, daughter went nuts! On the lower pole husband caught a marlin and while reeling that in we hear... More

We went on a whale watching cruise with Hackshaws March 2012. We chose them because they were the only charter that just went whale watching and not a combo tour with snorkeling or something else. We wanted to see whales and we did. We saw 3 humpbacks, lots of pilot whales and some dolphins. We had a great time. This... More

After several disappointing Whale watching attempts( Dominica,Seychelles) had high hopes for this trip which was expensive. Not much competition? First hour was fine good views of Dolphins & Pilot whales. The whale watching element then appeared to be jettisoned in favour of a leisurely cruise along the coast for the benefit of passengers collected from a cruise ship. The trip... More

The dolphins were unbelievable! Never seen so many, all racing with us under the bow and skiing across our bow waves. We saw momma whale, with her baby and dad, we think, as they gave us an outstanding display of leaping out and crashing down with their huge tails. Snorkelling with the Pitons towering over us and hundreds of different... More

We all decided to try the sport fishing through SGSL. So we went with the 1/2 day fishing trip with Captain Mike Hackshaw's Sport Fishing Tour. I know you can't really complain about there being no fish on a trip, I really enjoy fishing and realize that sometimes they just don't wanna bite but.... They could have provided us with... More

Fantastic mornings fishing after a slow start because the fish weren't biting. In the end we came home with several Mahi Mahi and a 40lb Wahoo. Jason and Henry were a helpful and friendly crew and made it a really enjoyable trip. The whole Hackshaws team was very professional. We would return and recommend! More

The whale watch special offered by Hackshaw's is a trip of about six and a half hours that includes several hours of whale-watching/cruising, followed by lunch at Marigot Bay and a very short swim at Anse Cochon. The lunch and the swim left a bit to be desired, but the actual whale-watching and cruising were wonderful! We saw pilot whales... More

The boat was clean, the captain and mate were courteous and helpful. We had 10 people, 6 active poles. In the 4 hours we caught one fish (marlin). For this part of the trip I would give it a rating of average. Once the boat docked, the crew took the fish away saying it was the property of the boat... More
