i started up Oriole trail, but decided I wanted to reach the mountain peak. This was a near disaster as the rain forest without a trail is quite treacherous. Once I found the trail on the steep descent it was a relatively simple walk. The trail meanders through thick forests with occasional glimpses of the blue caribbean More

Great walk - 2.5 hours one way, taking it easy, plenty of water required (Platypus system perfect). Led by James "Scriber" Daly, who knows EVERYTHING there is to know about the trail - an absolute highlight - and that was before I saw the female Oriole..... More

Just read the May 04 review. I tried to go up this trail in Aug 2007 and found it had not been maintained and was difficult to follow. I was especially disappointed as this is meant to be good territory for the orioles, but I was more concerned about finding my way back. Even finding the start was tricky after... More

My husband and I walked this trail on May 9, 2004. It is a beautiful trail, well-maintained, with absolutely gorgeous views. Many photo opps await those so inclined.
