Playa Dorado-Sardinero is a wonderful beach (if you're not up to traveling to Loquillo, its just almost as nice). It can be busy and noisy on weekends (but only nearest the parking area and bathhouse) further down you pretty much have the place to yourself. On weekdays it's all yours! The only downside is much of the beach is scattered... More

Not too much of a beach really. Very rocky and little as far as beachcombing there. There are other nicer beaches but considering that I could walk out of my hotel room and be on the beach within 3 minutes, I could manage :) More

If you come all this way to stay at Dorado beach, you will be disappointed. Best beaches are Luquillo and a beach on Culebra Island called Flamenco which you must take a ferry to. More

Not clear water and white sands like I was expecting. HEad over to the south or eastern side of the island for that. More
