The town is used and abused. At least it appears that way during the day. Prob a wicked party scene at night so this is a daytime review. This beach was nice and clean. Love the fact that I could just sit at the edge of the water and watch my kids. The waves were not too rough and choppy and went here about 3 different times. Also off to the side there is a small town they have shops and I got on this banana boat ride.... More

I was not impressed with Boquerón Beach. To me the beach and environs have an artificial feel. This is a beach for day-trippers, not for those who enjoy tranquil beaches with beautiful sand and water. More

My wife and I visited Boqueron Beach while on Honeymoon in April of 2005. During the week, and the off season, you almost have the entire beach to yourself.
