there's nothing to dislike.boston beach is nice...but mostly for surfers...that side of island is bit windy...so gives surfers good chance to enjoy.place nice and quite.mostly populated by local people.must have is boston jerk food.special in easter when is traditional jerk festival.but any other day you come...you still wont be sorry...just prepare yourself on hot hot pepper!!

Expect $10 - $15 to rent a beat-up by decent condition surfboard. Nice spot, good break on the left hand side of bay. You will get hassled some, but worth the trip. Don't eat at the shacks unless you negotiate prices first. We got ripped off pretty good.

Jamaicans hang out here, which makes it more fun in a way than Frenchman's cove. You'll be hassled by lots of people selling you stuff on the way in, but we went all the way to the far side and barely anyone came over after that. The waves were decent, which made for some fun surfer-watching. There was some undertow...

The day we were there the surfing competition was on. Good waves clean water and views that are stunning. I will be back to this beach again!!!
