Worth the trip. Consider a boat ride to experience the cliffs. Many will allow you to swim in the caves if the sea is calm.

not much to do there anyway, so go watch, have a drink, relax and enjoy. not a wow place, but if you there, why not to see???
This place has that "WOW" factor. It was the most romantic place I have ever been and with one of the best sunsets, where the sun looks like a big, orange ball of fire sitting on the horizon of the sea. The waters are the most beautiful that I've seen, clearer than the sky and great for snorkeling.
I love the white beach, but the cliffs in Negril are spectacular. The view from Rick's was breathtaking.
Numerous places to eat and lodge along the West End Road. Never a reservation needed. Lunch or dinner. Do a locally owned place for the atmosphere.
The Cliffs are a different experience from the beach. Even the attitude of the people is different. The restaurants and hotels own their attitude. They know they don't compare so they don't compete! Take a drive up and see for yourself, taste REAL Jerk cuisine, jump off the cliffs at Rick's cafe party at the Starfish and don't forget to...

Beautiful blue warm water and breathtaking sunsets--need you ask for more? I didn't get to the caves but some of my friends made it and LOVED it. I will return to the cliffs SOON until then I will have great memories
These are really great at sunset.. take a jump if u dare.. or just relax at Ricks and enjoy other watching other people take the dive
I would say skip Ricks and head to Samsara or The Rock House for less crowds and better views and jumping :)
I had not been to Negril for thirty years and was appalled, on a recent visit, by how tacky and over exploited it is now. I wont bother to go back again.
