We stopped unplanned to the monument and paid $5USD entrance fee per person. The gravesite was a small mausoleum and ornately painted. It makes most sense to visit this simple place, if you are travelling along the coast, away to or from Negril. there is not enough here to merit a long detour. I actually didn't go here in 2012, but went in 2011 and 2010. The monument is located in Belmont about a 45-60 minute drive from Negril in the childhood home of Peter Tosh. We met some of his cousins and actually spoke to his mother. More
