We opted to do the Chukka Catamaran party boat out to the foot of the falls, climb up, walk down, then back on the boat. The falls themselves were a great experience. Very cold water. You will get wet. We bought water shoes for under $10 in Canada before we left and it was a good thing. They had shoes... More

I've been to many waterfalls to look at but to get to climb (walk) them is so much more fun and refreshing. We had this included in our package but from seeing peoples reviews it is $20 and I'd say this is definitely worth it. We went in a large group so had a guide take us up and try... More

Visited Dunn's Falls and Green Grotto caves with Jamaica Cruise Adventures (Karandas Tours), booked privately for our cruise with Royal Caribbean. Fun to do both. Our private driver was waiting for us on arrival in Falmouth. They even gave us a discount since we had 7 people. Climbed Dunn's Falls, you don't need to hire a guide, just follow the... More

main thing not to do is buy the dvd because it is so cheap. Nice for experience but not worth it. I would pay the 20$ and climb it myself and trust, it is something that you can do without a tour guide. It was a good experience and more like a one time thing

It was fun/exciting to walk up the falls. Although, it seems a little scary (some people use a guide). It is fairly safe. You will get wet! But 20$ / person is very expensive for the size of the attraction. I am not sure that you would want to spend more than a couple of hours there. Local pay less.

The hike up was a lot of fun! The tour guides kept the energy up and the falls were beautiful. You can't wear sandals so be sure to have water shoes. I also brought a waterproof box to keep my camera in - or they will take pictures you can buy.

What a fantastic experience. We were told by our hotel staff that we should get up early to avoid any possible crowds from the cruise ships. Fortunately there were none. After a lovely boat ride from the beach of our hotel, we landed on the beach just yards from where the falls flow into the Caribbean Sea. Taste the water... More

I can not swim so I was terrified to do this. Our guide is the only female guide at the Falls and she was awesome. She helped e conquer my fears and I made it to the top of the Falls. I am so happy we did this excursion, it was wonderful.

Dunn's River Falls is amazing and def. worth your time and money any time you’re in Ocho Rios! Be prepared the water on climbing the water fall is very cold. If you want pics be sure to take a water camera because you will be soaked. There are lockers available for a low cost. Our guides were Dale and Leon,... More

Had a good day, but seemed to be rushed up the falls as another trip behind us. Once out you are then hounded as you walk out through the market stalls. even when you say NO they still follow you.
