It was fun/exciting to walk up the falls. Although, it seems a little scary (some people use a guide). It is fairly safe. You will get wet! But 20$ / person is very expensive for the size of the attraction. I am not sure that you would want to spend more than a couple of hours there. Local pay less.

The hike up was a lot of fun! The tour guides kept the energy up and the falls were beautiful. You can't wear sandals so be sure to have water shoes. I also brought a waterproof box to keep my camera in - or they will take pictures you can buy.

What a fantastic experience. We were told by our hotel staff that we should get up early to avoid any possible crowds from the cruise ships. Fortunately there were none. After a lovely boat ride from the beach of our hotel, we landed on the beach just yards from where the falls flow into the Caribbean Sea. Taste the water... More

I can not swim so I was terrified to do this. Our guide is the only female guide at the Falls and she was awesome. She helped e conquer my fears and I made it to the top of the Falls. I am so happy we did this excursion, it was wonderful.

Dunn's River Falls is amazing and def. worth your time and money any time you’re in Ocho Rios! Be prepared the water on climbing the water fall is very cold. If you want pics be sure to take a water camera because you will be soaked. There are lockers available for a low cost. Our guides were Dale and Leon,... More

Had a good day, but seemed to be rushed up the falls as another trip behind us. Once out you are then hounded as you walk out through the market stalls. even when you say NO they still follow you.

We did a private tour hoping to get there before the crowds but it didn't happen because our cruise ship did a rescue at tsea the night before. So yes it was crowded. Still a beautful place cool and refreshing. I kind of dropped the ball on our group I should have requested a separate guide to take us up... More

We were on a cruise that stopped in Jamaica for a day and we cgose to spend it at the Dunn´s fall in Ocho Rios. It was really nice. The Jamaicans laugh all the time, very happy people and they encourage you to enter the water all the time. You can escalate the falls, walking up with special shoes. A... More

Just came home from a week in Jamaica. We stayed in Montego Bay (about an hour and 10 minute ride from Ocho Rios). My husband and I were very hesitant to go to the falls due to the ride. We booked through our resort and we were NOT disappointed! You hike the falls in a group of about 20 people... More

We made the mistake of arriving at Dunn’s River Falls when two busloads of tourists from a cruise ship arrived as well. The falls are beautiful, but with 200 people trying to climb them, it was too busy for my liking. We were staying nearby at a villa but were only there for a week, so as much as we... More
