it's pretty but there's no infrastructure except a few shacks selling local fare, no restaurants or organised boat tours. The locals use it to bathe and party but it could be made more inclusive and fun.

Fantastic place to go by boat and have a swim!! Swiming in fresh water when you know you are surronded by salt water in quite impressive!!! Great views and great for pictures!!

We took a boat trip from Altes De Chavon down the river, it was nice with crystal clear waters, but for us, that's all it represented.

The view from Altos de Chavon is breathtaking! You should try to get your picture from Altos de Chavon village with the river behind you. The river is cristal clear and surrounded by forest.
