We had a wonderful time, learning about how the Cacao plants grow, and are processed. There tour was super informative and they were good about answering any additional questions we had. I don't typically buy things from gift shops but definitely left with a few souvenirs. The lunch provided for us was one of if not the best meals we... More

I was with my husband and his family. It was a great experience. They are all very friendly there, specially the man that plants the cacao trees. They show you all the facilities, and you taste cacao nibs. In the end, you get the best luch you can get, and a good cacao beverage. We loved it, and i already... More

I found out about this place on tripadvisor, and was drawn to it because of the good reviews. I wanted to do something different than the common resort and beaches in Dominican Republic. My husband, whom lives and is from over there drove us to San Francisco de Macoris (which is a clean and beautiful city by the way). It... More

Went to the tour driving from Santiago since that's I usually stay when I come to DR & just drive everywhere. Wasn't too hard to find since we had good directions from Judith. The tour is given in spanish but since I speak the language (being Dominican-American) I had no issues. The tour guide is very thorough at explaining the... More

I thought the tour was very fun. It was difficult a bit because although I was an English-speaking American with some Spanish skills, the whole tour was in Spanish and my husband had to translate for me, which probably means I missed some details. The drama show afterwards was cute, but probably not age-appropriate for my daughter, luckily she couldn't... More
