This is a nice place to visit with the family. The entrance is really cheap and you can have a view of the city. More

To be honest, it's just a very large square with a small castle in the middle. It's just a 2 stories building made of large stones and bricks. I made the tour in 10 minutes. That's about it. Dr. MAK More

The fort is a big and impressive structure overlooking the banks for the river, but there isnt too much to see or do here. Let your imagination picture what it was like when the city was newly founded. A must see if you are in the Colonial Santo Domingo. Limited placards with explanations, but well maintained grounds make for a rather pleasant experience. More

This place is very well maintained. I enjoyed the visit very much, but watch out for the "tourist guides" as they are there just to make some money and the information may not be precise. More
