This stretch of beautiful buildings is in all the pictures, and it's made to look like it's vibrant and bustling and full of things to do. It isn't. It's just some touristy shops with a couple of cafes. Go there, have a beer, take a few pictures, and go do something else. More

The Handeslkade is THE postcard view of Willemstad. Coloured dutch houses in the Caribean... but in front of them you have a low quality dutch terrace that serves "bitterballen" and other deepfried unhealthy stuff. What a waste. More

After a nice walk through town we decided to take a rest and sat alongside the water. we enjoyed a nice Daiquiri and watched the ships go by. We were full after the nice lunch we had at the local plaza so didnt order any food. this is a nice place to relax after a day of shopping. highly recommended. More

This is one of the most beautiful spots in Willemstad. The colours of the buildings are so amazing. You should really go there and make a picture ! More

What I liked best about the waterfront buildings was how colorful they appeared to the eye. We stayed to admire them at night several times, when all the lights were lit and the reflection of the water was absolutely beautiful!!!
