This is not for people that are unable to walk too far as there are many steps to go down to reach the cave, then when you are there it is a steep decent by ladder into the water which is very cold, some may say refreshing. There is a bar and restaurant at the top by the roadside where you could have... This was a nice experience. Walk 100 steps down into a cave and swim in refreshing water. We 2 gals, forties and fifties, loved it.

Well worth the trip and the money to get in 10 per person. 5 for the camera, but great pictures for sure also worth the money. We spent... More

Definitely worth the trip! best swim EVER in the mineral water. will see it in the jeep safari tour and in the Matanzas Bus tour from Varadero (that's what we did! for half the price of the jeep safari tour)

We visited this cave as part of the Jeep Safari Tour. The cave is similar to the cenotes in the Yucatan. Snorkel equipment is provided. We took pictures but chose not to snorkel as we did not want to change back into swimsuits (we had just been snorkeling at the reef). There is a place to buy a pork sandwich... More

There are so many caves to visit in Cuba, this one has very good access, therefore is very busy at times with tour busses and jeep tours stopping by quite often. there is barely enough room in the water to get in when there are so many people showing up. would hate to see what kind of toxins are in... The cave itself is not large, the climb back up was definitely a little challenging. There are many deep spots in the small pool created in the cave, e.g. 15 ft & 22 ft. Would recommend bringing the snorkel along to see to the bottom. The water is clear and you can see without a snorkel set, but there was... More

We visit this place during Jeep safari trip and it was really nice for the end of the trip to swim in cool water and to take break. It is good in part of safari tour.
