We docked at the cruise port on Friday Feb. 9, 2012 and we asked a taxi driver to bring us to a beach... we got on his taxi van with other occupants and he brought us to Blue Monkey Beach, about 15-20 minutes ride from Bridgetown. As soon as he drop the group near the beach, along side the road... More

OUr taxi driver Nigel convinced us to go to Blue Monkey Beach at Payne's Bay. It was about a 20 minute ride from the cruise dock - $15 pp round trip - but we didn't have to pay till we were back at the ship. There are chairs and umbrellas for rent from $5. We pulled ours into the shade... More

We docked in Barbados and asked a taxi driver to take us to a beach with snorkel a bar/resturant and showers. We were taken to the Bule Monkey Beach. Cab $30.00 (4people). We got there everything was ok except the trash and garbage on the beach. We had to rend chairs and umbrellas $30.00 again. We were some of the... More
