Contrary to the previous comments we had an excellent guide who took us around the house, and was very well informed on the life of Sir Grantley and his family. We where then able to look around the grounds and visit the Chattel house shops at our leisure. No attraction on Barbados apart from the beach takes very long to... More

"Arghh!!!" is what you will be saying if you travel to Barbados to tour its rich history. Vistors to Barbados, or those considering a visit, should know that tours of historic structures in Barbados, even those open to the public, are neanderthal at best. Although open to the public, there are no guides to tour Tyrol Cot or Lord's Castle.... More
