We played at Port Royal the day they sanded the greens which made putting very difficult. The course is beautiful, hilly and challenging. Cart path only is the rule.

18- hole PGA course. We had to rent clubs and they were new Taylor Made! Very nice! The course is competitive but fun. Historic sights within the course which added some casual exploration during our golf game. Employees at the course were super nice and stopped their work so we could play through! Very expensive but worth it for a...

I do not golf, have no interest in golf ; my husband is a casual player. Came here for a light round of golfing suggested by our Cambridge Beaches concierge. Carts are included and are a must, as holes are long, widespread. Beautifully maintained; everything you need here from pro equipment, shoes, balls, tees, whatever..... Snacks/ lunch are an easy...

I booked a tee time online before we left on the cruise. Upon docking I took a taxi to the course. The starter and staff were very friendly and engaging. I bought my Cuban cohiba from the club house and went off to play 18 holes. The course begins on top of a hill and ends on an impressive 18th...

Was worth it just to play 16 from the back tees! Greens a bit spotty, would have expected better shape but it is early in the year. Nice layout, not too long, back 9 gorgeous as it wraps around fort ruins and the ocean. You'll remember the views more then the shape or your score, play it if you can.
Renovated a few years ago. Course in very good shape, nice layout. Hole number 16 is signature par 3 on the water. Many other pretty holes. Home of the PGA grand slam. Looking forward to watching the event on TV in October now that I have played the course!
The course that hosts the Grand Slam of Golf is truly spectacular !! It is a very challenging course with hilly terrain but well worth it - it is well maintained and the staff helpful - the views especially around the 3rd hole are incredible! Bring a camera!
I have played every course on the island and this is my favorite and that includes Tuckers Point and Mid Ocean. What I did not like about Mid Ocean is that many tee boxes are behind the greens. So as you approach the greens you see people standing behind where you are aiming and I found it to be distracting,...

great views of the water! The course is challenging but not where you want to give up. Great staff and fast greens.
Port Royal was the first PGA level course I've played after playing golf for over 15 years. I was put with a local and his friend from Luxemburg, very friendly guys. The condition of the course was amazing. It was great to play a course that would hold the Grand Slam of Golf less than 2 months later in October....
