I was expecting the usual bronze bust of a National Hero. Wrong!! This is an enormous, larger than life, bright, papier mâché looking, bust of V.C. Bird, first prime minister of Antigua. According to my guide book it is bronze but it certainly does not look it. It is better than the usual statues you see.
