Frank slide interpretive centre has a great view of the slide, and all the history displayed in interesting forms through the building. Very informative and I had a pleasant experience checking out all the info.

Very nice little museum in a very wonderful landscape. It is very interesting to learn more about this disaster.

As an Alberta taxpayer I have mixed feelings about some of these interpretative centres cause I know they cost me a bundle (indirectly), but it really is well done and the Frank Slide is a compelling story that the kids were really interested in. I've been many times before, but this was the kids' first visit and it held their...

The actual Frank Slide is hard to miss as you drive along the Crowsnest Highway. Stopping into the interpretive centre provides a different view of the slide as well as nicely developed interpretive displays about the natural disaster itself. The Interpretive Centre is currently closed until September 2008, but driving to Frank Slide is still worth it! I drove down at the end of June 2008 and seeing the mountain and the rubble is amazing.
Also, there are Heritage signs around the area that you can read describing the tragedy and what happened. Although the Interpretive Centre is closed,...

It cost $22.00 (August, 2007) for a family of 5 and we made it just in time to see a 45 minute show entitled On...
