Take the free shuttle bus to the "temple" stop (last one), then take the easy 1.1 mi walk to the narrows. Definitely worth it first to rent special neoprene socks and special boots (these are surprisingly quite comfortable) and a walking stick. We got ours from Zion Adventures on the road about 0.4 mi from the park entrance. The thing... More

This was an outstanding hike, and our kids loved it. We could have just taken photo after photo of so many remarkable land formations. This is a beautiful part of the world. GO! More

It is a wet one (since you are waste deep in water for most of the hike) but it is the most fun I've had at Zion National Park More

What an amazing park! We’d never been to Utah before & coming here definitely made us want to come back! We only had a day & half here (we were on the end of a long vacation through Sedona, Flagstaff, North & South Rim’s of the GC, & Bryce Canyon NP) Since we had limited time we only did 3... More

This is a hike of a lifetime even for a non-hiker like me. I am 52 and not in terrific shape, but I really wanted to do this hike. We were well prepared with equipment (dry pants, neoprene socks, boots) and headed out. After we walked on the paved path for about 1.5 miles, we put our dry pants and... More

As the mother of 2 Eagle Scouts, all I can say is ''Be Prepared'' and you will have an amazing day! This hike through the Virgin River in Zion Nat'l Park was the highlight of an 11 day trip out west. My husband and I are out of shape and managed to hike 2 miles in the river that was... More

It is very beautiful hike. I’d recommend ranting the package from one of the adventure companies (boots, neoprene socks and a stick). Socks and boots are smelly but they work – similar to wet suit they keep you warm. We paid $18 for a package. You need to bring food, water and change of clothes. Before we ventured to narrows...
