This was a beautiful and exhilarating hike but was crowded in midafternoon. That made it a little hairy on the narrow portions but it was well worth doing. Not a difficult hike physically, but if you have any anxiety over heights it can be very tough at times.

Plan 3-4 hours depending on the crowds and time of day, it takes about an hour to get to Scout's. Beyond that since there is one chain but two way traffic there can be some log jams and some waiting.
