Worth the trip up. Numerous places to rest. The entire valley is in view and on a clear day you can see distant mountains. More

What an amazing view from the top of the rock. It is worth the effort climbing the path to the top. There are plenty of places to rest along the way in case you are not very fit. More

It was awesome, even thought I could only go 3/4 of the way up due to vertigo symptoms. I sat and waited for my husband and enjoyed the views! I figured why climb higher if I have to cover my eyes! What I was able to do/see was awesome! More

The whole park was amazing. We were there in between spring and winter season so a lot of Kings Canyon Park was still closed. We were only there for two days, but had plenty of time to see the Giant Forest, General Sherman, General Grant, Grant Grove, Morro Rock, Tunnel Log, etc. The best part was the hike to the... More

The drive from Giant Grove is beautiful! The signs say 400 stairs and I beleive it! there are also some areas with no stairs! The trial is steep and narrow! The views are awe inspiring and well worth the climb! Wear comfortable shoes and take your camera! More

I have climbed the 700+ steps to the top of Moro rock three times and would do it again as the view is magnificent and unparralled. Getting to the top makes you feel like Hillary on Mt Everest... Beautiful view of the Sierras and the San Joaquin Valley. If the day is clear, try to arrive just before sunset to... More

Try to approach the rock when it isn't cloudy or you'll miss the views and the trail can get very slippery when wet. Well worth the hike. More
