Very beautiful drive at Saguaro National Park East. Watch for bicycles. Quiet and colorful in Spring with wildflowers. Easy access with parking for hiking trails. We stopped at picnic area to eat our snack after a great hike. Interpretive center had dated but interesting film about the Saguaros.

You can be surrounded by saguaros in minutes. The views are spectacular. The all-abilities accessible trail is great for strollers, too.

Allow time to take the full drive at a very leisurely speed. More wildlife near dusk, but road closes before sunset. Great hill climbing bike ride! But even bike riders and hikers/runners have to pay entry fee to enter at Visitors Center.
