Juniper Lake is a lovely place. Nice camping in the Southeast part of Lassen National Park. Seldom crowded.

It's a long bumpy drive but well worth the trip. The water is so clear you can see down to the bottom. It's very shallow along the shore and has a nice beach area and picnic tables. A nice day trip from Lake Almanor.

I found Juniper Lake to be magical. The water is warm and the most beautiful turquoise blue. You can see the bottom of the lake and it is clean and inviting. The primitive (outhouses & firepits) campgrounds are more than I ever expected to find in such a "visited" area. I found no garbage on the ground and it was...
