It is very busy up there at the top of Going to the Sun Road and the parking lot is usually crowded in peak season but it is well worth the stop. Be sure to hike around you will definately see some Mountain Goats, and they are the best part!

On our first trip to the Logan Pass Visitor Center, the scenery was hazy from local fires, air was dry, and temps in the 90's. When we passed through again four days later, light snow dusted the area with temps in the low 40's. Shorts and t-shirts one day, jeans and jackets another. Talk about extreme weather for late August!...

Our managers created a night trip to Logan Pass. Of course at night it isn't so beautiful but I must say it's still wonderful. That was July,22 but everything was in snow, that's an unusual thing for my reason so it really struck me. When it's dark night everything seems to be mystic and gorges, a great view I must say.and...

Loved the view at the top. The hike was all uphill, but on a platform so doable. Saw mountain goats and ground squirrels.

Going-to-the-Sun Road peaks at Logan Pass. If you can find parking (always an issue mid summer, unless you get there early or late), get out and hike the path up the mountain to see Hidden Lake... or any of the other hikes. Lots of critters. Amazing views. I take every guest who can handle the climb.

Even in summer you can experience snow, feel the fresh montana pines in the air and good chanse to see Long horn sheep or the white mtn goats

Took photo reference for later work. It was 360 degrees of spectacular views, waterfalls and wildlife. Couldn't see it all in a life time.

We stopped here on our red bus tour and the first stop was in the middle of storm squall that was blowing through. Rain, fog, and some light snow made it difficult to enjoy the visitors center as many of the people driving the road to the sun had stopped there, but it was enjoyable on the return trip.

Getting there the fiirst time, the drive can be daunting, but well worth it. There is a museum, book store, gift shop. Drive out the back way to Columbia Falls and stop by the Goat Like...absolutely amazing!
