The views on the Going to the Sun Highway were designed for the Red Bus Tours. It is well worth the money to see the sights and have everyone enjoy the view. Drivers are knowledgeable about the road and current conditions. More

Red bus tour is truely a spectacular experience. The views are ever changing, take the day tour. What you see going will be just as spectacular if not more on the the trip back. Our Jammer was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the park.Dress in layers as the top does roll back. This tour was worth every penny. More

Our whole family went and spent several days around the park. I would go back in a minute - there was so much to see, the scenery is fantastic. We spent one day on a red bus tour and while I was a bit aprehensive at first I had a great time, even with the storm squall we went through.... More

Really August 2009. Our Jammer was fantastic, he was so informative. We had a great time and it was worth the money. We were all able to enjoy the sights since we didn't have to focus on the roads. We really enjoyed the roll back top so that we got to look up saw a so much. There were lots... More

Had 16 of our friends out from all over the USA and Canada - we rented the entire bus, left MacDonald Lake Lodge at 0900, travelled up to the Logan's Pass, breath-taking scenery, open top roof, everyone had a great view. Wear layers as temperature changes dramatically as day progresses and altitudes change. Went in mid-September - it was the... More

Our driver, or Jammer, as they prefer to be called (I'd guess this is in reference to the standard transmissions and the habit of 'jamming' into gear), Chris, was very knowledgeable about the park as a whole, and about the mountains/glaciers/lakes we saw on The Road to The Sun tour. This began in St. Mary's on the east side of... More

The Glacier Park Red Bus Tours are the way to view the Going to the Sun Road. I had driven the route a dozen times before when entertaining friends frequently listening to a narrative of the trip on CD as we drove. However, nothing compares to the knowledge of the Red Bus drivers and having the ability to look around... More

After having seen the Red Jammers on PBS shows, i knew that if I ever went to Glacier National Park, I wanted to ride in one. You know how sometimes TV shows make a travel experience look more exciting than in real lfe? Well, I had that opportunity in July and it didn't disappoint. The scenery was of course gorgeous... The Red Bus Tours are a great way to see the spectacular scenery of Glacier National Park. Our guide told us that these are original buses that have been restored to their pristine classic condition. The weather was great so the convertible top was rolled back to reveal the entire view. Our "jammer" (guide) was expert & entertaining. The Going-to-the-Sun... More
