Great place to get trail information and head out on a hike. Beware that the mosquitoes in the area are swarming!!! We road the shuttle to see the huskies and demo then hiked back to the visitor center...a nice mostly downhill walk! They have a nice gift shop and cafe as well!

had to go separate from the tour but it was worth the extra effort. very informative staff. Just getting there was a little out of the way.

We parked at the Wilderness Access Centre (WAC) which was near the visitor center and bought shuttle bus tickets which departs from the WAC to Eielson Visitor Centre. Very nice exhibits -- lots of thought went into what they've done here, and I especially liked the ability to walk through the tundra and see specifics of the park. A wonderful park center.

Most local resorts have free shuttles to here. Great little movies and exhibits. Really good book store on site ( Alaska Geographic society runs ) have a free dog sled demonstration.

Enjoyed the center. Info available to buy re flora, birds, animals. Helps with ID when you see something not familiar

A large, open facility near the train station/airstrip with rangers ready with info and maps. There was also a museum area with dioramas and displays of Denali and Alaska wildlife and park history.

They have desk where you may ask questions and they have a museum about the history of the DENALI park, and they have some things about the native culture of Alaska and the people who first started coming to Denali.

Check out the visitors center and other centers near the park entrance. Don't miss any of the video presentations that they offer.
