I joined the 5-ish Cabin Nite Dinner after returning from a 8-hour bus tour at Denali. I was tired and exhausted. I wanted to just sit there and relax. But since I already bought tickets ahead of time and it's dinner time, I dragged my exhausted body and waited for the shuttle.
The shuttle service was great from McKinley Village...

To be honest, we went there because I thought the grandparents would enjoy it, which they did. As these shows go, it was pretty good. Food was better than you usually get at theses dinner shows. I'd say it's not a hit with the pre-teen/teen set, though.

We are in our early 50's and brought our 15-year-old with us to the show. All three of us really enjoyed it. A lot of the guests were older cruise passengers, but there were also some young families. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and the food was decent. It is not Broadway, but what do you expect in...

Not for kids or teenagers. We had fun interacting with the older adults from the various cruise lines but we were the youngest in the room by far. The food was average, but on request they made a special vegetarian pasta for my wife who couldn't eat pork or salmon at the time. The show as cheesy, but the singers...

Even if Cabin Night is included on your prepaid tour, I recommend not going.
You keep thinking it will get better. It doesn't. The play script is awful. Even great singers/actors could not save this show... and the players, who incidentally are also your servers, don't save it either. The food was mediocre to poor. Beans and corn out of...

Don't know what the folks who panned this show were expecting. I'm a folk musician hoping to hear some tunes on my trip to AK, and this experience did not disappoint. Good voices as well as poignant lyrics, hated to have it end. I only wish a CD had been available.

This is definately geared towards the older crowd. That is painfully obvious when all the singalong songs are so old that no one under 50 is going to recognize them. (except for "take me out to the ballgame"). Little kids will think all the noise and commotion are cool. Teens and 20 somethings will feel out of it. We thought...

we knew this would be corny, but it was pretty bad. we were rushed through our meal, presumably because they do a second show later- i barely had time to start on a beer, when the last call was announced just prior to the start of the show, so you could not order any drinks during the show, which definitely...

We brought our kids and my husband's 80 year old godmother to Cabin Nite, expecting mediocre food and a cheesy show with an Alaskan flavor. The food was better than I expected, all-you-can eat, served family style-moist salmon, BBQ pork ribs (OK, but too much sauce), corn, beans, tasty biscuits, salad, and delicious blackberry cobbler (served with whipped cream--ice cream...
