Lots of different beautiful colors to see in the sides of the mountains, depending on what minerals have surfaced. Nicely maintained road. More

The Artist Palette loop is very easy to access and takes very little time, unless you decide to go hiking. You will see an array of mineral colors and shapes that are very pleasing. A definite yes. More

The Artist's Drive scenic road leads you to a car park from where you can see the Artist's Palette. There is a view of a colourful array of hills. It is very pleasant to behold and I would recommend anyone to do this drive / view rather than basting past it on the main road. More

Really great at dusk, we couldn't figure out quite how to capture the vibrancy of the rock as the colors altered as the sun set, it was a wonderful challenge. More

I understand why artists love to come and paint at this spot. The variety of colors, and kept us guessing what in nature caused the color. It made me want to get aquainted with a brush and paint! More

Easy to get to (just drive along Artists Drive) and a perfect place to take those sunset pictures since the setting sun hits the colors just right as it passes over the mountains behind you. More
