Awesome is overly used but this is really what the point is when there is high tide and some waves. Too dangeraous during a storm but there is no experience like siting on the rock on a warm sunny day with the huge ocean waves braking all around

Gorgeous part of Acadia National Park that so few visit, it becomes your private playground. There's a private campground just outside the park boundary which is spectacular.
