I loved this place! The hike was pleasant the view is surreal there are facilities around to accommodate your every needs. It's perfect. For families with (very) young kids it could be challenging if you plan to bring your stroller with you. The lifted sodden path could be tricky for a stroller, so you might want to prepare an alternative. More

This is actually a small lake and it's very pretty. There is a walking trail around it and the fall trees were lovely. However, it was so crowded we couldn't eat in the restaurant. The gift shop was over loaded with people and the clerks were somewhat irritable. I guess I can imagine why. I would definitely go here again... More

One of Acadia National Park's jewels, Jordan Pond has The Bubbles at one end and Jordan Pond House concession restaurant/tea house at the other. East side walk is graded; west side to complete loop is much rougher. Lots of visitors have eroded the west side soil down to roots. But the hour or two at the Pond is a regular... More

Lived here my whole life and Jordan Pond and Jordan Pond House is in my top three! Take the 4 mile (ish) hike around the pond and go to the phond house for lunch. Amazing tea, try the curry chicken salad and blueberry cobbler! More

It soothed my soul. We had drinks of mineral water and had popovers. The pond wouldn't be all that fascinating without the Jordan Pond House just above it. Twice I went there and twice the bottom literally fell off my glass. Staff tried to collect it, but I'm keeping those babies! Wow! Very cool. If you want to get the... More

We had traveled to Acadia National Park for the day to hike and take photos. We had a destination location to photograph at Jordan Pond. However, that day the winds were very strong across the pond and my chosen location for a sunset photo was blowing my gear about. So, off to dinner at the Jordan Pond Restaurant. We were... More

This is one of our favorite places to go. We go several times each summer. Popovers on the front lawn are delicious as well as the food on the menu. You can drive to Jordon Pond House or bike to it on the Carriage paths...I highly recommend this wonderful place. More
