The restaurant, housed in an old palace with a lovely garden where you can sit when the weather allows (i.e. most of the time), is a bit of the beaten track in the center of Naxxar but well worth a the trip. There are probably restaurants with better food (but not that many) but if you take the overall experience... More

This is a cute litle palazzo, which showcases some of Malta's finest. The palazzo can be toured in less than an hour (unless you actually care for the audio tour), and does not have that many rooms. The gardens of the palazzo are nice and they have a decent cafe there. More

Really fine house which give you the chance to explore how the elites of Malta lived (I've found there story rather hidden behind the story of the Knights, and so was keen to find out more). The house is a fine example of the influence French taste and fashion had on the elites of the Mediterranean. Mainly decorated from the... More

Very well maintained palace, a great way to spend the afternoon. Unlike many of the more run down or less organised sites in Malta the palace is very well presented with its opulence and history easily understood through the very informative audio guide. This is reflected in the €12 ticket price but does include a €2 voucher for the cafe,... More

This is a well preserved late 19th century refurbishment of an older palace with heavy Victorian furniture and soft furnishings and spectacular Italian decoration. The marble staircase is impressive and each room is authentically furnished. The audio guide is good. The gardens were a little disappointing but perhaps they are better later in the spring. The gift shop sells an... More

The gardens are beautiful, very comfortable and just the place to be with your Grand children as apart from the staff being children friendly so is the food. More

I first visited for lunch about three years ago and immediately fell in love with the place because the food and service are impeccable and the prices realistic. I must have gone about 4 times a year since my first visit and I never fail to be impressed because the standards are invariably maintained and the menu always has something... More

I was there for tea.... we paid a total of 16 EURS each for tea (1.5 cups of tea or coffee each) and a couple of scones and cup cakes and sandwiches. In my opinion it was very overpriced. Also two of us did not turn up and we were asked to pay their share since it had been prepared... More
