Not a great deal to look at and to be honest not worth the trip. Near to the Akroteri site so at least that is worth a visit.

Unimpressed with what we saw ... Took off after short time ... The ride out there was beautiful so it's not time wasted but keep exploring in my opinion

The red rocks are quite the sight. The beach is tiny and was very full in May already. Don't attempt the hike there in flipflops and bring your own food and drinks! Liked it, but it is a bit out of the way. Recommended if you go there early in the day when there are less people and wear good... More

Breathtaking red cliffs adjoining black sands, topped off with a bright white pumice layer makes red beach an interesting place to soak up some sun. Take lots of liquids with you and dome sturdy footwear for climbing up to and down to the beach, also dome shoes to go in the water as its very pebbly and hard in the... More

You're gonna have to hike through big red rocks to get to the actual red sand beach. The climb isn't too bad but it isn't for everyone, certainly not my mother. Of course, there are other means to get to the water without having to walk a lot but think of the beach as a reward! Anyway, it's a very... More

You could also walk there from a narrow road, if not take a boat trip. Nice the red rocks. Bad the crowd!

A narrow beach , with rare red color volcanic foam stone. It is nice to have pictures and say " I was there " Keep in mind that it is dangerous to lay on the sand under the red rock as pieces of different size fall down, from the rock, due to erosion ( diavrosis ). The sea is not... More

if you approach from land be ready for an interesting climb down and back up some rocky terrain. Well worth it when you get there. Better to approach from the sea in small boat.

The island of Santorini is not famous for its beaches but this beach is incredible. The colours are spectacular and worth visiting. You can see it from the ocean cruising by but really don't get the full beauty of it unless close up. Be forewarned, it gets very busy and wear surfshoes. The water is very rocky.
