Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre is the home of the Jacob’s Creek wine brand and is located in the heart of Australia’s most famous wine region, the Barossa Valley. The centre offers a memorable culinary tourism experience with a tempting combination of food and wine, and sweeping views of vineyards and hills. The stunning building features benchmark environmental design, based on principles of sustainability, recycling and energy conservation. Within the Centre, visitors can sample Jacob’s Creek wines with a casual or structured wine tasting, learn about the regions history and heritage in the interpretive gallery or enjoy a lunch at Jacob’s Restaurant which offers contemporary Australian food matched to wine recommendations. Outside, visitors can tour the demonstration vineyard of 14 different grapes varieties to learn more about how wine is made, take a walk through the picturesque grounds which are home to a wealth of native flora and fauna along the banks of Jacob’s Creek or simply enjoy the views from the deck surrounded by the native Australian plant garden. Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre has been recognised as a leading wine tourism site and was entered into the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame in 2010 for winning Best Major Tourist Attraction three years in a row. The restaurant has won the tourism category at South Australian Restaurant and Catering Awards. The centre also has national tourism accreditation and climate action certification.

We were staying locally on business and were given the Barossa valley as a destination to go for a day off.
We drove past the Jacob's Creek sign (stopping for the obligatory photographs) and turned into the visitor centre.
Right from the start it was immaculate, manicured grounds opening up to example vines and a gorgeous visitor centre.

Its one of the best, from the moment you drive in you know its a bit special. The highly skilled winemakers will educate you regarding their quality products and lead you down a tasting adventure..... love the creek!

Had never been to Jacobs Creek before. Very impressive. The wines were excellent, the best part was the staff. They were outstanding, great ambassadors for the Barossa.

A very pleasant place to visit. A nice drive, and plenty to see along the way. Go on a fine day, might be spoilt if it is wet.

This is a really attractively presented winery. Beautiful gardens and an Australian animal enclosure. Helpful staff and lovely wines make it just perfect. Nice selection of gifts but they are a bit pricey. Well worth a visit.

This was our second visit to Jacobs Creek and once again we loved our wine tasting - and at no charge!
We were lucky enough to have visited only a week after the introduction of the Cool Harves range - what a treat! The Pinot Grigio is divine.

Jacobs Creek Visitors Centre is one of the friendliest places to go to try Barossa wines. They let you try everything for free and are happy to tell you about the wines they produce. Also have a little area for the kids to play while you taste. Also have a great walk you can do and native animals to see....

On a trip through the wonderful Barossa Valley we stopped at the Jacobs Creek Visitor centre for the first time.
