It's definitely a must see if you are travelling on to Ijen or to the ferry to Bali. Find out what is the cost of a guide, and do not pay a penny more! Our guide really tried to rip us off, thankfully our driver managed to get half of our money back. More

“Beautiful, but beware of the porters!”

We travelled with 2 kids (6 and 8 years old). About half an hour walk and for the last part (slippery) the porters where handy. But...we just arrived in Indonesia and where not 'sharp' enough! Negotiate before you start the walk about the price of the porters! But the falls where amazing and there where hardly any other tourist. That... More

The waterfall is stunning when you reach it. There are youtube and still pictures of the waterfall you can google search to find. However, to reach it you are required (according to the notice at the entry gate) to use a local guide. The initial asking price was 100,000 Rupiah. Because I had 2 small kids, they needed a guide... More
