I am sort of surprised the "gate" (that's all it is) got such great reviews. It is in an odd spot- right in the middle of a round-about, so watch out for cars and motorbikes while you are trying to pose for a photo. It's worth a look and a photo, but there's really not much to it. I think...

Previously there were four main gates. Only one of them is still standing - the south gate. It is very easy to visit it after visiting the hanok village as it is only a short walk around. Currently there is a market surrounding the gate and it is a good introduction to a Korean market.
