Hodosan shrine's grounds can be walked around in 10 minutes or so, and the shrine and out-building, torii, etc. added nice architectural elements to combine with photos of the maple trees. The shrine building itself was ornately carved and painted, and it looks a lot like the Toshogu shrine in Nikko. Definitely should see it if you're going to go...
