interesting place for fort lovers. the danish fort is situated at seashore which adds extra beauty to this fort. once entered into the fort, you will be taken to 17th century. the museum inside the fort showcases lot of tools which they used during that period. it is worth visiting when you are nearby. More

Hello all, Tharangambadi also called as tranquebar,its having wonderful ozone rich beach also having historical fort whic is build by danish peoples.. Second important thing i like to share with you is it has historical church which is located in the kings street it was construted in the 18th century... I visited the Danish Fort at Tharangambadi around a year vack, along with my family. It is a few kilometres off the main road to Karaikal.
