Visited on a very cold but dry day in April with two 10 year olds and an 8 year old. They loved it!! What struck me was how open it all was. In the summer you could imagine plonking your picnic blanket down and letting the children wander around on their own. There was plenty to entertain the children; as... More

At first sight the farm looks rather ramshackle, but after a while that becomes one of the places strengths. There are some interesting animals here, but the information for each type really needed work, most were just laminated A4 sheets, and there is a lot of potentially interesting stories on the site. The kids play areas were not the latest... More

We visited on Easter Sunday, with a biting cold wind but dry thankfully. The entry charges were fair, teh shop small (that's good to me) and the animals & activities as expected. We spent around 5 hours there, with six children aged 4 to 7 thoroughly enjoying themselves (as did the adults). The numerous playgrounds was good. As with most... More

Plenty of space, idyllic setting, obvious investment in play equipment and buildings...lots of well kept animals, so should be 5*. It could, but management need to have a word with the staff running the place. Mardy cafe staff took 45mins to produce 2 sandwiches and 3 jacket potatoes which were cold when finally arrived. Even a simple tea and coffee... More

I have to say we nearly didn't go here based on the reviews i read but I'm so glad we did & i would highly recommend it. We met 2 lots of friends here, all of us with toddlers aged between 18m-3. We paid the winter rate of 3.95 which was great value. We arrived at 11 for rabbit petting which... More

I took my 9 month year old daughter here, she liked the soft play area as she has just become mobile. Could do with a little updating and tlc but okay. The slides, trampoline and swings for babies and toddlers are great, lovely having something for the younger kiddies. Friendly staff and liked the actvities such as chick handling.

Although I had a groupon voucher and had missed out by a few days, the staff were very good and did a deal for us, as there was 2 adults and 2 children with learning disabilities. I must agree with some of the other comments, how you were left to your own devices, no clear directions of where to start,... More

Fortunately we had won a voucher to go to Cholderton Charlie's otherwise I would have asked for a refund. Lots of the pens there were empty and most of the others housed only pigs and goats. I have nothing against pigs and goats but there used to be far more variety of animals when we first visited years ago. There... More

Had a Groupon voucher so went along and was impressed, it was a lovely place with very friendly animals who the kids loved, especially Hamlet the pig! There were some areas without animals which it would have been nice to see full up and it would be good if the tractor ride was included in the admission but otherwise great,... More
