The cruise along the river in a rural setting was relaxing. The food was cold eat all you can.
As you need to eat lunch somewhere, you may as well do it here and enjoy the view.

I was there in 2007 and revisit it May 2012. There are more floating restaurants. They build a awful concrete cay. The food is less delicious then before. The music on board has changed from a Philipine style band with acoustic guitars into a popular English style music. Keyboard and lady singer with a microphone. There are two choirs aside...

I was amazed of the moment in the middle of our cruise up stream to the Busay falls. The floating hut was the next stop. Traditional costumed boys and girls dancing with the accompaniment of the small musical ensemble was amusing. One is invited to dance with the group and you can take pictures. Very nice idea. I liked it....

I tried the Loboc River Cruise recently as part of a tour package. I found the whole activity to be so commercialized and disorganized. There were local and foreign tourists waiting for their ferry and banca to dock...what is this lack of boats? The cruise itself took about 30-40 minutes or so, over lunch buffet, with music as a background....

If you want to go on the cruise, you better get there early or you'll have a long wait ahead for awful food and poor service. We got there at 12:30 but didn't get on a boat till 1:30. You are made to wait by the dock being forced to listen to a blind rondalla band that kept playing Bye...

Our tour guide took us to the town of Loboc, where we came to a docking area where you had to chose from a selection of river cruises. We chose one cruise and went to the boat, and the boat left in a few minutes. The food was okay, there isn't much vegetarian options however. Around the docking area the...

The Loboc river cruise is a must see in bohol if you like to see nature. Theme parks would mimic the forest but this is for real. They serve a buffet of native food and they have a singer for entertainment. We asked him to sing Beatles songs and he obliged. At the end of the river, there are mini...

The view and the cruise itself was great. The people singing and the dancing kids were also very nice. However, we really did NOT enjoy the food at all. There are a bunch of different cruises operators that offer Loboc River Cruise. I think we just picked the wrong one. Maybe better to go for a more expensive cruise with...

Ive done this cruise twice, first was at lunch then this time for dinner. They couldve done a better job with the lights they installed along the banks.
The food was so so. Refill was slow. Maybe its not the case with the other boats but in my experience, twice already, there wasnt that much different. For those who had...

First things first, Loboc River is beautiful!
But the cruise is supposed to showcase Loboc River, its beauty, rich history, the folklores associated with the river and not just to haul in tourist in a forgettable ride. After the cruise, yes I’ve seen the river but still knew nothing about it, I marveled at its beauty but didn’t completely understand...
