This is a spectacular place to visit. It is currently under renovation but this should be completed in total by July 2012 but more areas will open in February. This is located in the southern part of Peru.

Andahuaylillas (this place prides itself for being home to the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas"). It was cool, but it was definitely not the Sistine Chapel.
It was under construction during our visit so there was scaffolding and people painting on the walls.

This is the second time I have tried to write a review about this wonderful World UNESCO site. It is amazing. Its renovations are being funded by the World Monument Fund. It is more beautiful than the Sistine Chapel.
